Description: Shipping from Europe with tracking number / zech velocipedist club 1880The crucial date was November 16, 1880, when several young men who fell in love with cycling met in Jan Kohout's factory and decided to establish the Velocipedist Club. It traces its establishment to this date, although official approval came on January 2, 1881, and the founding meeting with the participation of 23 members took place in February 1881. Jindřich Cífka was elected as the first chairman. It was the first club in Bohemia and the second in Austria-Hungary, where the Villacher Velocipedisten-Club (1878-1880) operated, bringing together members who briefly operated twenty tricycles produced by the local Josef Erlach. The club started taking joint trips. The first on April 24 was a full-day trip to Loděnice, the seat of the club president, followed by others, the most significant of which was that year to Chrudim and its surroundings on July 23 to 26, which was undertaken by 18 cyclists. Over the course of the year, many riders set out on their own journeys, the furthest being Josef Kohout to Upper Austria and Bavaria. In total, CKV members drove 45,000 km that year.
