Description: This WW2 US Army USGI M1 Carbine .30 Rifle Wooden Handguard is in good, clean condition overall and only shows mild signs of age, service and storage. The handguard is clearly stamped "RMC" which denotes production by the Rock-Ola Mfg. Co. sometime during World War 2. The handguard has 2 rivets and appears to have a "deep" sight groove, these characteristics would appear to indicate early production. No cracks or serious damage can be found however there are several mild blemishes that can be noted. This handguard would make a fine addition to any WW2 era M1 Carbine rifle and would be a wonderful piece to complete your rare Rock-Ola example.
