Description: This was an estate sale find, I am no expert in fly fishing but I will do my best to describe this rod. Take a look at this Old Faithful Rod Co. "True Action" bamboo rod by Wright & McGill. This rod comes with two tips which makes two different overall lengths. The longer length is 8' 6" and the shorter length is 8' 0". This is a very old rod and appears to have the original finish, it also appears to have been rarely used if at all. This rod comes with the original maroon aluminum reel seat. The individual sections are 34 1/2" long with the one shorter tip being 28" long. The rod weighs 5.2 oz with the three 34 1/2" sections, with the 28" section the rod weighs 5 oz. It comes with a vintage tan color rod bag as shown in the pictures. This rod will be carefully wrapped and sent in a sturdy cardboard tube.
