Description: These vintage Pixie bookends from the 1920s by Gerdago for JB Hirsch are a wonderful and unique addition to any collection. They feature a marble base and pixie reading a book, standing at 5.5 inches in height, approx 5 inches long and approx 2 5 inches wide. The art deco style adds a touch of mystique and romance, making them perfect for all occasions. These original bookends are a lovely representation of early 20th-century art deco decor. Designed by artist Gerda Iro Gottstein also known as Gerdago and produced by JB Hirsch. This set of 2 Pixie bookends with marble base are wonderful. Some moderate paint loss in spots but difficult to see with naked eye due to dark color. I have tried to take pictures of areas. Faces are intact and lovely. There is a vein of marble in one base that has a small chip in the side, also pictured. Felt on bottom still intact, which is rare with these pieces. Felt shows wear. Lovely addition to any collection. These are heavy, wonderful pieces. Please look at all pictures carefully and request more if needed. Ask questions prior to bidding as returns are not accepted. Photos are part of the description, so feel free to request more. Thank you so much for looking! Check out my other vintage listings!
