Description: This vintage women's Harris herringbone tweed blazer/jacket is in exceptional vintage condition. No flaws. The jacket was made for Johnny Appleseed's - a clothing company from the 1960's. The wool was made in Scotland and is handwoven and was "tailored" in the USA. The color blue and black tweed like 100% wool with lines of Burgundy, teal, and dark gold. My apologies as there are some wrinkles as I just pulled it out of storage to take the pictures. They will hang out or iron out. This jacket has many details that separate it from other blazers - it has a red piping between the lining and the wool interior of the jacket. The lining around the armhole is reinforced and beautifully stitched. The lining itself is in really excellent condition. I do not think this jacket was worn very much. The two pockets on the front and 1 at the breast The button is pristine. The sleeves have at split at the cuffs - see pictures. Here are some measurements: chest (armhole to armhole - or pit to pit): 18" sleeve: 23.5" shoulder to hem: 26" Questions? Please ask. Please see pictures for details. Buyer pays return shipping.
