I pay the shipping charges within the USA.Description ------- one (1), vintage, visually charming, handmade, 18k solid gold over a rare Eilat stone, Hebrew “CHAI”, small PENDANT (or use as a charm) from a NJ estate. Circa 1950s-1960s. The pendant is UNSIGNED & UNMARKED as to maker. This small pendant is unmarked as to maker or gold content, but reliably tested as 18k gold, by Hamilton Jewelers, Nassau St. Princeton, NJ.A hand beveled chai, centered within a gold, chain filigree design band, which bands a marbled, green Eilat stone. The stone is simply cut - in a round disc or puck shape. The meandering, “frozen chain link” side filigree technique is typical of late 1950s-1960s brutalist design jewelry.Small. Please take out a penny to visualize the size. 😀No maker or other marks on pendant.Chain was found with this, and is marked “14k GF (gold filled)”and “(c)lenox” (note - value is in the pendant, not this chain. The value of the chain is minimal compared to the pendant. The Lenox mark on the chain is likely a Boston jeweler, established in 1922, and still in business.)Total weight of pendant, without chain - 2.9 grams, on my scaleSIZE - Small - pendant is approximately 1/2” diameter x 1/8” thick. Very Good, pendant, with a gentle patina of age. Polished stone has two tiny areas, at veins of the stone on front, lacking polish, as seen with magnification or very good eyes, at the viewer’s left of the Chai letters. CHAIN - slinky/very thin curb link, 14k gold filled (emphasis - chain is gold filled-not solid gold). Chain has light wear/tarnish, but was found with this pendant, so I’m including it - note: the vast majority value is in the pendant, not this chain. Minor wear appropriate to age, no repairs.
