Description: VTG 2pc KIG Exotic Tropical Birds 41/2" Drinking Glasses Platycercus Pica Nuttal. I love old vintage drinking glasses both to enjoy a good cocktail and as decor for my MCM vintage glass collection. I love the wavy glass, the heavy bottom with a cut design, the feel in my hand and the colorful bird art on these two particular glasses that were popular in the 60s and 70s. The letters PS or PJ ? are in the center of the bottom and both glasses sport an exotic bird with it's equally exotic name. This would be a great glass for juice or to add to your barware, or a thoughtful gift for your collection. They are both in great vintage condition with no chips or cracks, with slight wear on the bottom. The colors are bright and intricate with no paint scratches. These could be used as replacement pieces if you collect this type of glassware or just as two special glasses to drink from in your cupboard when you are enjoying a special occasion. They measure 4 1/2 " tall and 2 1/2 " across and hold app. 7 0z. of liquid. The full names of the tropical birds handprinted on the glasses are Pica nuttalli and Platycercus baueri.
