Ginny is an excellent, near-mint condition, painted lash walker Ginny with her original, curly dark brunette wig in twisty braids with thick, curled bangs. She has a working walking mechanism and blue eyes that only need your gentle assistance to sleep, and there are no scratches to her eyelids. Her painted lashes and brows are very light auburn color. She has even, evenly blushed cheeks with no scuffs. She can stand on her own, has all her fingers, is nicely strung and can hold all poses. She is appropriately marked "Ginny Vogue Dolls Inc. Pat. Pend." on her back which dates her to exactly 1954. She is also marked on her neck "Vogue". Her body has no stains, odors, seam splits and is a remarkably wonderful example of a classic, 1954 doll in a marvelous outfit. This Ginny will come to you dressed in a near mint condition skating outfit which features a hot pink felt skirt tagged with a crisp Medford Mass. Vogue tag which closes in back with the original hook and eye closure, a handmade cardigan sweater which buttons with tiny hot pink buttons and comes with the matching stocking cap with tiny pompom. She wears newer earmuffs with large pompoms and matching felt mittens. Her ice skates are off-white suede cloth and are from 1954.
