Vintage Schwinn Paramount P15 CHROME Frame Set 1972 Campagnolo HS & BB Campy 24"

Description: For sale is a Schwinn Paramount P15 Touring frame set. This was the 66th frame built in November 1972. Serial number L7266. The frame set includes a Campagnolo Nuovo Record head set and bottom bracket with a taper for a triple crankset. 23" or 58cm top tube23.5" or 60cm center of bottom bracket to center of top tube24" or 61cm center of bottom bracket to top of top tube The frame is in excellent condition. There are no dents or cracks or deep scratches. The frame and fork do have some minor scratches of course as it is a 50 year old frameset. The rear brake bridge shows signs from a rack and brake being attached and the fork has some scratches in the chrome. The chrome is in really great shape overall: it is clean and bright. The underside of the fork crown, under the seat cluster and the bottom bracket are the areas where superficial rust is present. The rear of the bottom bracket shell between the chain stays is the worst of the rust. The decals are all fairly worn. The two downtube decals are incomplete and show signs of age. The seat tube Olympic band is VERY WORN. The Reynolds 531 Tubing Decal at the top of the seat tube is also worn away. The Campagnolo decal at the bottom of the seat tube is mostly intact but is worn and a bit. This frame is structurally fantastic, looks beautiful in person and would make a great daily rider. If you redecaled the frame, you could have it looking REALLY sharp in no time. I am selling because I bought a small collection from a gentleman this summer and this is too large for me, hence the sale. Please look over photos and send me a message if you have any questions.
