Description: Thank you for stopping by. Very vintage, Russian traditional lacquer box. Made in former USSR, in Kholui town, renown for it's lacquer wood crafting since 18 Century. Ca 1960s. All handmade and hand painted, based on the famous Russian fairytale "Sister Alenushka and Brother Ivanushka", in which younger brother didn't obey his older sister, and got turned into a baby goat.
