Description: Vintage Red 1960's Tom Thumb President Child's Typewriter No Case. K1. Estate find. This cute red typewriter is made by president. I believe its a Tom Thumb. Its very heavy. It weighs over 5 pounds. The inside is dirty it needs to be cleaned. Im gonna start with what I see wrong with it. Cracked plastic lid where it says president. The a comes off. Im not sure the hits the back. Its a toy the mechanisms arent perfect. It does shift the Roller slides back-and-forth and dings. The ribbon needs to be replaced. There is a ribbon and spools but it needs to be re-threaded on the right spool. Ribbon reverse doesnt have a button. I dont know if its supposed to. I think it doesnt because the carriage reverse does notvery very heavy 10 x 11 x 4
