Description: Hello and Welcome to the Textile Trunk! A stunning pair of French peasant travaille bleus, or blue work pants! These trousers are made of a softly worn heavy cotton moleskin denim, built to withstand time and daily work use! They date back to the 1940s and are made of a lovely velvety soft dyed cotton with a gorgeous uneven fade. The pants are a dusty powder blue with some darker areas, and two sweet darker patches on the front! Unique, one of a kind always . These textiles were used throughout the French countryside and can still be seen today. Please see photos and the condition description for more details!! MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures approximately: 38 inches long 27 inch inseam 13 inch rise 37 inch waist 44 inch hip CONDITION: These pants are in as found, not freshly laundered condition. Because of its age, the fabric is fairly worn through, with fraying on the pockets and some worn out spots, specifically on the front left-facing side. There is a lovely uneven fade with such a unique quality!! There is a hole in the back left-facing side, about seven inches wide (reflected). Please see photos for a closer look! The back right-facing side has a spot of staining on the bottom near the cuff - it is about two inches wide.
