Description: This one-off hand built balsa wood MG TD model car was acquired from the estate of Michael Sarvas. Michael was one of the largest, if not the largest, MG toy and model collectors. Most of his collection is featured within the publications "The Complete Guide to MG Collectibles" by Michael Ellman-Brown. We purchased the collection directly from Michael's widow many years ago and are now marketing the remaining items. This model measure 6 1/2" long. It is nicely finished in British Racing Green (BRG) with black interior, bent wire windshield frame and tan boot. The road wheels appear to be plastic with "nail like" axles. There are no head lights, tail lights, bumpers or steering wheel. The undercarriage has Mike's inventory number affixed, unfortunately his corresponding index was lost. Overall, this is a rare, one-off model built in the period by a master model builder. Please look at ALL of the photos as they are a direct representation of the condition of the model.
