Restored, no cracks or chips. Sits flat, some irregular coloring on bottom and light pitting throughout. Made in USA. Please refer to pictures as they are of the actual item.These cast iron pieces have been carefully restored by stripping them down to bare metal by natural means. No sand blasting, wire wheels, or any other such equipment is ever on any of my restorations, so as to respect the original craftsmanship and historical character of the iron's surface.As such, natural irregularities in the iron's surface will be present, which can include casting flaws, pitting, or utensil nicks.
