Description: This vintage Indiana Glass compote dish is a beautiful addition to any collection. Made in 1965, this milk glass dish features an embossed design on the body (the Lorain pattern), a glossy finish, and a square pedestal base. The dish is 5 inches in diameter and 3.3 inches in height and has a lovely laced edge. The pressed glass dish can be used as a small planter or as a candy dish. The compote is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear. There is a lighter section of glass where the compote did not release evenly from the mould (see last two pictures). The glass is smooth and slightly blue, making the compote more interesting.
