Featuring hand painted detail, pup is a beautifully rendered carving of this beautiful breed - he is depicted with ears cocked and strong stance. Condition is lovely with no cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - a hint of wear - there are even tiny nails painted on his paws. Standing independently for display, dog is unsigned, but dates to the 1940s or 1950s based on the estate at which it was purchased. A charming folk art dog - nice addition to any collection!
