Vintage Duncan Phyfe Mahogany Sofa in Black Leather

Description: Here we have a gorgeous vintage Duncan Phyfe style tight back sofa. This one has been upholstered in buttery soft full grain black leather. Superbly stylish carved and inlaid mahogany frame, nailhead trim and brass toe caps. I have no idea the actual age on this sofa, but I can tell you it is very very clean and in excellent condition. Measurements are: 81.25 inches long at the widest part of the rolled arms. 32.5 inches tall at the height of the curved back. 35 inches deep front to back and an arm height of 28.5 inches. This sofa is absolutely stunning from every angle, no expense was spared. The back and sides are ALL full grain cowhide, NO imitation pleather. Full length bench seat cushion is exactly the same on both sides and has cushion anchor clips which say MADE IN U.S.A There are only two seams on the front and two piped seams on the back, amazing quality. The sofa has been fully redone in thick yet buttery soft genuine full grain cowhide. Very little wear, there are some variations in the cowhide as would be expected from a natural product. I find just a couple of spots that look like scratches upon first inspection, but they actually feel like a thickened scar in the hide.
