Charles Fairmorn founded the Hanseatic tobacco/ products import consortium company chartered in 1978 (Germany) resurrected from distributors of the old Lubeck Tobacco Company. The Fairmorn company conducted commerce across several exclusive tobacco / products markets until it was purchased/ merged with Joh. Wilh. von Eicken Gmbh in 2016 per the family owners of the prior Lubeck Tobacco Company. . The short term exclusivity of this market makes this jar a rarity, with the few known handpainted , produced by Delfts to have survived. This jar exhibits undamaged excellent era conserved condition showing correct very few slight finish crazing, and exception of a small vertical crack in the correct style era, fitted brass lid. The original vintage lid sealing material is still present at the jar neck.
