Description: The game is complete except for the board and in very nice condition, considering its age. Among the weapons, the gun and rope are from a slightly later version of the game, since the gun is three-dimensional rather than flat and the lasso is a plastic piece rather than a knotted string. Also, the lead pipe is actually made of steel: it replaced the original material in the 1960s when lead was deemed a health hazard to players handling it. Also from a later version of the game are the six small pencils with "Clue" printed in gold on them. The pad of detective notes has 13 clean attached sheets and 2 loose used ones. The box measures approximately 9" x 10 ½ " x 1".Item will be sent in a USPS Priority Mail medium flat rate box. If you know a cheaper way to ship it safely, let me know!I have several later edition Clue game boards (1972, 1986, 2009), all of which can be used with the 1949 game. If anyone is interested I can post them for sale on EBay.
