Description: This listing is for a Cain's Potato Chips Lighted Advertising Clock. Illuminates and keeps time as it should. Unsure of the clock's age. I do know that Cain's, of Bowling Green, OH, was in business from 1936 through 1977, then sold to another company. I believe the Cain's factory was kept operational until 1992, then closed due to consolidation. The clock shows wear and scratches from age and use. There are two cracks on the outer part of the housing (pictured). One is on the upper right (if looking at the clock), the other is on the bottom. Measures 16" x 16". There might have been a piece of glass or plastic covering the face at one time. If there was, it is no longer present. There is no original packaging. I gently used compressed air to clean the inside, but it still shows residual dirt (pictured). I did not disassemble the clock for cleaning. This is a cool piece of history that would make a great addition to someone's clock or advertising sign collection. Please check out pictures for condition as they are part of the description. Item is sold as-is. I do my best to represent all my items for what they are, good and/or bad. Please reach out with any questions before, or any problems after your purchase. We will work out any valid issues. Thanks for looking! God bless!
