METAL UNKNOWN, BUT I BELIEVE IT TO BE BRASS. THE PIN BACK IS NICE AND STRAIGHT AND FITS SECURELY IN THE CLOSURE. "CZECHOSLOVAKIA" IS ENGRAVED ON THE PIN BACK. IT MEASURES 1.75" WIDE X 1.125". THIS VINTAGE PIECE IS IN FABULOUS CONDITION AND THE BLUE GLASS STONES ARE CLEAR AND THE COLOR IS VIVID. THERE IS SOME VERY MINOR SURFACE SCRATCHES TO THE GLASS, BUT SO MINOR I CAN'T CAPTURE IT IN THE PICTURES. YOU WILL LOVE THIS PIECE ! IT IS ALWAYS A PLEASURE BRINGING YOU GREAT TREASURES THAT I HAVE FOUND EITHER IN AUCTIONS OR PRIVATE ESTATES.
