Description: Rare vintage blanket, heavy wool, in excellent condition. I do not know how old this blanket is or origin. I do know I have never seen another one like it. The images appear to be warriors and the obvious phallic design must mean that this tribe was bad a**! Beautifully handcrafted, although I am not sure how the effect of both sides in reverse was engineered. The wool itself has a "washed wool" feel to it, although not stiff or board life. Softish, no nap supple. Cream, brown, tan, neutral palette suggests natural dies. One of a kind. Quite heavy.
