Description: Beautiful Aichi China tea set consisting of a tea pot, sugar & creamer, and 6 teacups, saucers, and dessert plates in a lovely traditional cream and red bordered floral pattern. This set was produced in Occupied Japan in the late 1940's to early 1950's. It was donated to our nonprofit for resale and has a few scuffs and shelf wear/staining on the bases consistent with occasional use. There are a few small flaws (rough spots, spotting in the glaze and pattern) as well as a slight patina on the gilt edges.
