This Amazing Piece is Authentic Vintage Mid 1980’s Pin-Up Goth Glam Rockabilly Fabulousness … Designed by Mariann Marlowe for Ian’s ( which was her store front in NYC) , and yes, she’s still around and still has a shop in NYC called Enz’s… Mariann Marlowe specializes in Vintage 50’s, Rockabilly, Glam Rock clothing… and she obviously makes the finest quality clothing due to the beauty of this piece.. This skirt is almost 40 years old… purchased in the mid 80’s… and let me tell you… it’s still amazing. The waist is elastic with large silver ‘studs’ around it. And the elastic still has stretch.. after 40 years. The floral lace is flawless and there are small silver studs placed all over the skirt. There are lace ‘pieces’ strategically placed throughout the skirt - I really don’t know how to describe it… and this gives the skirt movement, volume and texture … The hemline is asymmetrical .. The pictures don’t do justice to this piece of art … The elastic waist measures about 22 inches un-stretched … so this is definitely a size small. When I wore this back in the day I was about a size 2/4 I don’t know the fabric content.. Feel Free to ask questions… thank you for looking
