Description: For sale or auction is this Vintage1967 National Periodical Publications/ King Seely Thermos Co. Superman Lunchbox & Thermos. This lunchbox is an excellent display box. Apart from the 3/4" scratch on the "S" of the word Superman, there are very few micro-scratches on any other panels. None of these tiny scratches interfere with the graphics on the panels (see pictures). The thermos is also quite excellent with no dents or dings and only 6 small scratches on the pink-colored building top and a small scratch above Superman's left fist. All panels graphics are clear and bright with no dents or dings. Indeed, only the non-graphic solid borders show some paint loss and/or oxidation from normal usage. Locking mechanism in excellent working order and handle/clasps are shiny with only minor oxidation on both clasps. Very little professional restoration would be needed to refurbish the borders. Inside of box is clean with normal paint loss where thermos came in contact with the walls of the lunchbox. Please examine all of the pictures closely as they are part of the description.
