Much better (and larger) than the original, this beautiful ad is perfect for matting and framing. Go-karts were invented in 1956. Small ads first appeared in 1958, and larger ads began to appear in 1959. This is one of those early ads. Designed by Indy 500-winning designer Frank Kurtis, and tested by two-time Indy 500 winner driver Rodger Ward, the Hellcat and Wildcat were manufactured by Percival Mfg. Co. in Des Moines, Iowa. A great piece of go-kart history. Ad will be placed inside a plastic sleeve with cardboard and mailed in a manila envelope.
