Description: Vintage very nice 1952/53 Olympia SM2 portable typewriter. Made in Germany, Olympia Werke AG, Wilkelmshaven. The textured gray finish is in good condition with a few chips and wear marks to the finish. Overall very nice. Check out the photos. The charcoal black key board is in very good condition almost looks like bake lite. No case. The serial number is 319020. The typewriter is in good operating condition. The keys strike and return and the carriage advances well as you type, platen, backspace, paper feed, feet, new ribbon, ribbon feed, margin release, bell, carriage lock, paper support are all good. Types very well smooth with nice font. New ribbon. Good chrome and graphics. The typewriter measures 12 3/4” x 12”x 6”. Overall the typewriter is in good condition. Does show signs of wear as the photos show. No PO Boxes. Please review all pictures as they are a large part of the description. Being sold as is. Thanks for your interest.
