Vintage 1950s/60s MAGNAVOX High Fidelity-AM/FM RADIO Table Top Wood Cabinet FM43

Description: Vintage Magnavox Table Top Walnut Cabinet AM/FM High Fidelity Tube Radio I believe this is from the 1950s or 1960s The back states it is Model FM 43 Made in Fort Wayne, Indiana It has 4 dials that all work as expected- FM/FM AFC/AM selector, Tone, Loudness (OFF/ON) and Tuning. The cabinet is in excellent condition- there are a few minor scratches on the the wood top as seen in the pictures. Slight wear in a couple areas of the silver tone framing. See pictures for details. On the backside there is also some minor damage to the wood cabinet at the base- it is seen in the pictures and does not affect the appearance from the front or sides. This is also shown in the pictures. The power cord is in excellent working condition. When the unit is plugged in, it powers up, but makes a prominent hum that interferes with the ability to hear the stations well. On both AM and FM, I can hear a few stations, but they are not clear. So this will need some repair/adjustment to be in good working order. The tuner moves through the whole dial. It measures 15.25 inches wide, 9.5 inches tall and 6.25 inches depth. It weighs over 9 lbs
