Description: Vintage 1940s handmade folk art hanging corner wall shelf, featuring a Monarch butterfly in orange, blue, and black painted detail, with two tiers for displaying smalls. Made of thin wood with original painted finish throughout, complete with pipe cleaner antennae. Paint displays a beautifully crackled alligatored surface from age. Good condition with signs of use, including scuffs, marks, dings, scratches, etc. The original metal hanger is broken, but it looks like the previous owner hung it through the wings, as evident by small nail holes.
