Vincent Price Remarks On Tourist Attractions Purch. From Price Estate 6ss

Description: Vincent Price Handwritten essay on Tourist Attractions in Portugal: “Highly touted tourist attractions, it seems to me, more often than one could wish, end up a disappointment while the lesser known or made known are surprisingly wonderful. The Palace of Queluz, just outside Lisbon, has a marvelous ancient kitchen made into a restaurant and is jammed with locals and travelers. And the superb miniature Versailles is visited by only those whose full stomachs need to be walked-off. Exquisitely presented and cared, this is a cozy palace almost understandable as a place to live. It is furnished with admirably adequate specimens of proper period furniture and paintings and the gardens are trimmed to perfection. The Portuguese care of its monuments and museums is admirable, especially when compared to the shameful neglect of the Italians.” This is ideal for the Vincent Price collector Purchased from the Estate of Vincent Price.
