Description: U.S. Air Force Navigator wings. 3" (full-size). The wings are marked “VANGUARD N.Y.” on the back, indicating they were made by Vanguard Military Equipment Company, New York. The wings have a clutch back. The age of the wings is unknown, but they may be from the 1950s-1970s. The wings appear to be in good used condition with signs of age and wear, such as scratches, scrapes, abrasions, nicks, indentations, pits, some loss of finish, and perhaps some discoloration and/or oxidation. At least one of the clutch back posts appears to be slightly bent. Some imperfections may be a result of the manufacturing process. Please see photos, as they constitute part of the description.
