Description: This is a metal presentation plaque (perhaps solid copper) that was issued at the XX (20th) Mint Directors Conference in South Africa in 1988. The plaque depicts a Zulu warrior and an elephant amongst other symbols and is done in great detail like a mint coin. The back of the plaque lists all the Banks attending the conference including the Central Bank Of Ireland. It comes in a hard wood presentation box. Condition: plaque in mint condition. The box has a split in it that follows the grain of the wood. Size approx.: plaque size 9 x 7 cm.
