Description: Two Beautiful Vintage Hand-Embroidered Linen Tea Towels This gorgeous pair of hand-embroidered tea towels are so colorful. My grandmother made these, probably in the 1950's or possibly the early 1960's. She was very skilled at all types of needlework and did lovely work. They are made of linen and are hand-hemmed in her tiny stitches. Each towel is approximately 27 inches long and 17 inches wide. As is typical with toweling fabric, the sides are the selvage edge. On the back of one hem it has stamped "Supreme Textile Co." On the other side there are some numbers for the textile that look like "No. 8843 Towel". These towels have never been used so they are clean with no spots or tears. (Please see photos.) Please message with any questions or if additional photos are needed. Some international shipping.
