Contains the first two books in the Japanese young adult fantasy light novel series, The Twelve Kingdoms. Very hard to find hardcover edition. Jacket is now protected in new archival sleeve but previously experienced some light rubbing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Staining to interior or jacket with some small areas of discoloration visible on outside as well. Same/related staining is visible on boards and a handful of pages. Boards very slightly curved with corners mildly bumped. Binding is strong and spine is straight. All pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
