Description: So this is Vermont Castings FAMED ORIGINAL VIGILANT WOODSTOVE, before the company was bought out multiple times. One of the most “tried and true” wood stoves ever. One of my most cherished utilities! I operated it all last winter and didn’t have any issues. Parting with this Vermont Castings because I’m getting another stove from a friend. Cold weather is coming, be prepared with this original Vermont Castings Vigilant wood stove. Has heat shield attached to back of stove and bottom. Wire screen also; both doors are cast iron not glass. Includes some stove piping. I have put stripping around the doors and the top griddle. Look at all the pictures. There is a crack in the fire box in the front as pictured. Also, the damper is warped, but it has been warped for a number of years. I will hold for a buyer to pick up from 18708 NE. Pennsylvania.
