Description: This is an Estate Fresh old Vase that is a relatively uncommon form made by a superb quality Artisan. This is a beautiful art pottery vase by Carl Gebauer. Made In the 1920s, this is a Carl Gebauers', of Germany, Art Pottery Floral Art Nouveau Vase 8” Tall, Late Art Nouveau / Arts and Crafts period from Gebauer's Kunsttopferel und Majolikafabrik (Art Pottery and Majolica Factory 1892-1948). The Berlin wall placed his successful factory in the Communist controlled area, and it was taken over by the state in 1948. This beautiful hand painted work of art pottery dates from the 1919-1929 period. This piece is wonderful in its uneven hand finishing so the applied colors give the piece a textured finish where the colors are. It measures approx 8" tall x 5" in diam at the top.
