The Runway is an overstable midrange that can take powerful throws with accuracy. In heavy winds, this midrange will hold straight lines with a strong finishing fade. Power throwers will find that no turnover is to much for the Runway to overcome. The Runway offers more glide than the MVP Deflector due to its less aggressive fade at the end of flight. Low glide but controllable fade Allows for good distance control even in windy conditions If you can throw a buzzz 300+ feet, and looking for a beefier cousin, this is it Scot Ranney Scot Ranney (Review Nut, L7, Advanced) Aug 1 2020 10:56AM My Flight Ratings 5/3/-0.5/3Neutral Who doesn't want a flat overstable mid that feels great in the hand and does exactly what you want? The Streamline Runway fits the slot in my bag between the Entropy and the Motion. I throw a 174g Runway and it's been in my bag for quite a while now. I get a good straight throw with an expected fade. It's great in the wind, dead straight for forehand rollers, and forehand shots thrown on a very slight hyzer will flip to flat, fly straight, then reliably fade out. It's great for mild backhand anny force flex shots in the trees. In the field it goes where you throw it and dumps out at the end. I like it better than the Pyro and the Deflector because it's kind of in the middle as far as turn-over, distance, and fade at the end. The Pyro isn't as dependable for me, especially in the wind, and the Deflector even though I like it a lot, doesn't give me as much of a line as I can get with the Runway. You can turn the Runway over so you still need to be aware of your angle, but this is something I really like about this disc. It listens to me. Compared to the Pyro and Deflector, I feel like the Runway is easier to fine tune throws and has more wiggle room to create lines without worrying about a turnover (Pyro) or worrying about the disc taking over before you're ready (Deflector.) I've had some great sidearm rollers with this disc. Hit the ground about 30' out on a slight hyzer angle, it will stand up and roll perfectly straight for a few hundred feet, then sputter out on whichever side it's leaning towards. A favorite for these shots. I don't know how well beginners would like this disc, but at lower weights it might fit that overstable mid slot. The Runway is one of my main discs and is one of the discs that always goes in my small bag for traveling or short courses. Yeah, I don't leave home without it. I recommend checking this disc out if you are looking for something that holds your line and hits the ground without skipping. Numbers: This does not really glide, I think giving it a 3 glide is being generous. It's one of the things I like about this disc- you don't have to worry about the wind playing with it. Fade is probably closer to a 3 for me than a 3.5, and I'll give it a .5 turn becuase if you rip on it you'll get some turn, but it will fight out quick. I throw a lot of axiom discs in neutron and wanted to give streamline a chance and the runway is my go to over stable mid. It feels amazing and is so reliable. The fade is strong but not too strong. It will fight any wind and is perfect for a backhand flex lines. It is also one of the few mid ranges I have found really good for forehands. It is beadless And I would compare it to the Malta from Discraft. I recently got a Malta and wanted so badly to bag it but it is hard to replace the Runway! It is not as overstable as a Justice but more overstable than a Buzzz OS. If you want total workhorse mid you got to try the runway. Plus the design and patters are SOOO good looking
