It has a fullered cruciform blade. One of the M1891/30 upgrades was an added press stud to secure the bayonet in place, instead of the earlier locking ring. It is attached by fitting it over the barrel muzzle and is locked into place with the press stud. Overall, this cruciform socket bayonet is in Very Good - Very Good Plus condition. The socket, shoulder and blade have light finish loss along the leading edges, but no notable unusual wear. The press stud has stiff spring tension. The blade has its original factory edge. The tip is intact and comes to a sharp straight point. It was refurbished at the 1st GRAU Arsenal in Balakleya. It has the square with a slash through it symbol. The left side of the elbow is marked with the arsenal symbol and the serial number "AP 2746" and the right side elbow is marked with "PT 340", possibly the "PT" are Cyrillic letters. The scabbard is NOT included. This socket bayonet will be a great addition to your Russian Nagant rifle, or a bayonet collection in general.
