The shell was replaced, I used the eject , power and reset buttons and the cartridge slot borders (that say Nintendo) from the old console. The new one did not say any of that. While I like the grey, you need to know that the new shell is smooth and has no texture like the original. Also the power cable is one that has 2 plugs on it. It uses the bigger one. No game only for demonstration purposes!
