The exterior has a draglines, scrapes and scratches, most notably on the top. The hinges are intact and the top opens and closes smoothly, however, one of the hinges is missing a nail. The latch is functional. The finish on both the latch and hinges are intact, they have turned a darker gold patina color and have some light scrapes. The wood stain finish is mostly intact. The top interior has a piece of foam with blue flocking. The flocking has cracks and some of it has fallen off. There are no rips and tears in the foam. The coloring still remains. The bottom of the wood case has a plastic form fitted mold for a 4" barrel revolver with a Target grip. There is a little tool compartment with a lid. The flocking has fallen apart and loose throughout, including the tool lid. There are no chips, cracks or compressions in the plastic mold. The blue finish on the plastic is intact. Smith & Wesson tools are NOT included with this box. This is a vintage wooden display presentation box and tools that will be perfect for your favorite S&W revolver.
