Description: Up for sale is a Fine Condition, clean 3-Pin Stainless Hand Assembly for the modern S&W J Frame Revolvers. This particular Assembly originated from a well cared-for Model 442-2 J-Frame revolver. Compatible Models would generally include Late-Model J-Frame S&W revolvers like the 442, 642, 637 and 638, etc - that had the Metal Injected Molded internal parts - see next paragraph for more details: *** NOT BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE TO VINTAGE MODELS *** - Due to the fact that the Pointed Tip of this Hand Assembly is shaped a bit different than the tips of the Hands from Vintage S&W Revolver Models, we advise and recommend ONLY to use this Hand as a replacement for Late-Model J-Frame S&W revolvers such as those that originally had the MIM (Metal Injected Molded) action components installed when shipped from the factory. Final Note: This Hand is considered "normal" in its sizing: It's sized as .075" Thickness, as opposed to some of the earlier, vintage J-Frame revolvers that used an "Oversized" (Thickness over .075") Hand.
