Description: This is a Smith-Corona Portable Electric Typewriter Model 3L which comes with the original case. It has been tested by printing each key in upper and lower case and overall is clean and in great shape - ready for use or to add to your collection. It could use a new ribbon cartridge which are available on eBay, Amazon, etc. Great for kids to teach them how to type and start writing! There is some minor paint spray on the roller and one or two places elsewhere on the unit but is hardly noticeable and does not affect function. The plastic hinge on the back of the case is starting to tear on one side (see picture) but is still well attached and the case opens and closes well. See pictures for actual condition.
