Description: Wonderful lithograph from Nancy Taylor Slatington. Signed and numbered in pencil. #173/750. The size of the lithograph is 8 X 11 inches. It has been professionally matted and is in a wooden frame covered with plexiglass. The frame size is 18.5 inches wide and 15 inches tall. The title is 'Nesting Puffins'. The colors are soft and neutral - beige, white, brown, gray. It was a bit difficult to take pictures that do justice to this art, primarily because of the plexiglass covering. The frame is tending to look blue due to the lighting, but it is brown with black around the outside edges, and a gold band on the inside. The matting is light beige with a soft blue inner matte. N Taylor Slatington is well known for her art work of Alaska. This was likely done on Round Island in Alaska, possibly 1978 when other art work featuring puffins was done. The lithograph might possibly be dated on the back, but I did not want to take apart the professional mounting to look. The original owners of this work lived in Alaska for many years.
