Feels like it is made from canvas but there is no material tag and is trimmed in what is most likely black nylon. Main pocket of the bag has a drawstring closure with strap and buckle closure. 1 front pocket as well as 2 side pockets close with a strap and buckle. The back of the bag is padded for comfort and has 2 adjustable padded back straps. There is one carry pouch on the right back strap.
