Description: This is a Service Medal Of The Bavarian Industrial League with Original Case. This is a circular table medal constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a standing robed laurel crowned woman holding foliage and a sitting robed man holding a pick and a mallet, below is inscribed with "EHRE DER ARBEIT" (HONOR OF WORK), the reverse is inscribed with "FUR LANGJAHRIGE TREUE DIENSTE VOM BAYERISCHEN INDUSTRIELLEN VERBAND" (FOR LONG SERVANT FAITHFUL SERVICES FROM THE BAVARIAN INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION) with a beehive and three bees above encompassed by an open top laurel wreath, the obverse is marked "HEINRICH WADERE", the edge is unmarked, measuring 50.38 mm, weighing 51.2 g, very fine. The case is clearly marked "CARL POELLATH, Schrobenhausen." The set is in excellent condition. I purchased them in 2000 from a private collector. NOTE: These are all pieces from my 30 year personal collection of WW2 Militaria that I am now liquidating. They are all authentic unless otherwise noted in the description.
