The felt is actually quite smooth and flat. It's smoother and less fuzzy than what I normally think of as felt, but it's a great surface for a coaster. These coasters are black on one side and gray on the other. They're made of firm, fairly dense, polyester felt. price is for a set of 4 coasters - coasters only - no other items are included. Mug is for display only and is NOT included. I can make coasters with other designs. Most of the designs I offer on t-shirts can work for coasters too.
