Description: Here is a RPPC (real photo post card) of President William Howard Taft talking to a woman and man. Both men have big mustaches and are in suits, the woman is dressed in a white dress. Looks like it could be a room in the White House where they are standing, but I can't be sure. Taft was president from 1909 to 1913, he later became the 10th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Taft also served as Civilian Governor of the Philippines and was the 42nd Secretary of War. He passed away in 1930 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery. The photo is clear, but there are some marks on it. Easy to identify that it is William Howard Taft. The edges and corners have rough spots. The postcard was never written on, addressed, stamped or postmarked. Great for the Taft fan or political collector. Fun research project figuring out who is in the photo with Taft. Postage will be 4.40 to the U. S. IF OUTSIDE THE U. S., PLEASE USE THE POSTAL CALCULATOR TO DETERMINE THE COST OF POSTAGE. If you like old photographs and ephemera, please check out my EBay store and the other old photos I have listed. Many different subjects, time periods and places! I mail all my old photos in padded envelopes with cardboard to keep them from being bent. Thank you!
