The basic VS-880 CD Recording System, VS-CDR-S2, offers everything "V-Xpanded" VS-880 owners need to record their own CD's: a JVC-manufactured 6x read/4x write CD recorder, a ZIP disk containing VS-880 CD recording software, CD-R software for Mac's and PC's, a SCSI cable. "V-Xpanded" VS-880 owners, as well as those who have upgraded their original VS-880's with VS-880-S1 software, need only install the new CD Recording System software and connect a serial cable to the CD recorder to begin recording their own audio CD's.
