This shirt may have been a Limited Edition release album promo or for an actual live performance promotional concert for the release of the album with Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest who performs on the song Get It Together. Ill Communication is the fourth studio album by the American hip hop group Beastie Boys, released on May 31, 1994, by Grand Royal and Capitol Records. Front has Get ill-matic, Get in tune, Get Ill-Communication, Get it together, Beasties Boys with "The Abstract Poet". Has various image icons of hat man, graphitti spray can, crown, an 8-ball, speaker and Capital Records building. Shirt is on a Oneita Power 50 Plus Made in U.S.A. fabric tag sewn in Mexico. Nice and faded and buttery soft and thin. Shirt has single stitch sleeves and bottom hem. I believe a professionally done repairs have been done on the back collar. So well done that they're hard to notice. Sold as-is vintage item. Smoke and pet free home. No returns. I believe that The Abstract Poet is referring to Q-Tip, the Rapper, producer, singer, Dj nicknamed the Abstract from the Hip Hop group A Tribe Called Quest. Shirt is a size Extra Large. Measurements are 24.5" wide (pit to pit) x 30" long. One of the most rare Beastie Boys shirts I've ever seen! Definitely a conversion piece and one any fan of the Beastie Boys will surely love!
