The Brunswick boot is named after the small town north of Portland where the local neighborhood kids are born with skis on their feet and hockey skates draped over their shoulders—needless to say, it’s a gorgeous part of the state that relishes in winter conditions. Built to endure years of harsh winters and outdoor exploration, the Brunswick Boot embodies the spirit of Maine through and through. The uppers of this Brunswick Boot are cut from a subtly textured bison leather that Tasman Tannery in Maine crafts to be water resistant and very durable. Once they pass the leather to Rancourt, their skilled shoemakers make each boot by hand, including cutting the leather, forming it to the last and stitching on the rubber crepe sole. The result is one of the best boots around, one that, with the proper care, you might find yourself handing down to the next generation with pride. A small ding (see photos 12 & 13) near the big toe of the right boot is the only flaw I detected. They are in otherwise “like new” condition. Please examine photos carefully before purchasing.
